Job function

Responsible to the shareholders for the stewardship of their financial investment in the World Planet Logistics Co., Ltd and for enhancing the values of their stake-holding by the prudent management of current and future business ventures in both Thailand and Overseas territories. Provision’s of a Corporate Environment which is conductive to the development of a customer-responsive staff culture.

job summary

	Directs and monitors the overall governance of WPL and ensures that the various
	Business Units are properly and efficiently managed.
	Ensures that all business activities pursed by the WPL, comply with the
	legal dictates of the Thailand’s Constitutional system.
	Exercises supervisory control over the CEO and the Group’s
	Management.
	Approves the WPL’s overall annual budget and thereafter monitors
	these forecasts against the various Business Units operations and the fiscal targets.
	Approves the “writing off” all Bad Debts relating to any of the WPL’s
	Business Units.
	Ensures that the WPL complies with all Thailand’s fiscal requirements
	and that each Business Units annual accounts are audited in compliance with prevailing legislation.
	Directs and shapes the WPL’s strategic policies and ensures that both
	existing and future business development are structured towards achieving these declared goals.
	Responsible for approving all staff emoluments and bonuses payments.
	Responsible for approving the appointment and dismissal (if necessary)
	of all managerial staff.
	Manages the activities of the WPL’s Internal Auditors.
	Chairs the various WPL and business Unit Board Meetings.
	Approves the appointment and terms of references for all external
	Consultants or Advisors engaged by the WPL.
	Represents WPL at a senior level.
	Liaises closely with the Thailand’s banking and investment institution.
	Acts as an exemplary leader and role model for all WPL staff in pursuit
	of the Company’s quest for customer service excellence
